Oracle Relational Database Management System
THe School runs an Oracle Relational Database Management server for use in teaching and research. For teaching use, the School has joined the Oracle Academy Computer Science and Business offering which gives us development, database The University has a comprehensive licence for the Oracle Relational Database Management system. The School participates in the Oracle Academy Advanced Computer Science and Business offering which gives us course material, development, database and Oracle Application Server products for teaching use.
Our server may be accessed by students from outside the Campus network. You can use the web SQL interface in the Oracle Enterprise Manager, or download Oracle client applications from the Oracle Technology Network.
The University has a Campus Site licence which allows use of Oracle for non-profit research. Contact if you want to use the School's Oracle server, or if you want to install a separate server to use in your research,
