Computing Facilities
Both the School of Computer Science & Informatics and the University Information Services division provide computing laboratories for students to use.
School Facilities
The School of Computer Science & Informatics operates laboratories and research centres for its undergraduate and postgraduate students and researchers.

In addition, members of staff and research students each have their own workstation, laptop or both. These are generally Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh or Linux systems.
The School runs servers which provide file space, email, web, database and connectivity for its laboratories, research centres and individual systems.
The School's Computing Facilities and Technical Support Team look after all the School's facilities. (Some research centres have additional support staff of their own).
University Facilities
The University's Information Services division (INSRV) provides general-use Windows laboratories and support for the on-line Modern Working Environment, and the central IT provision such as email, groupware, web services etc. See:
